Marcos Lopez de Prado

Marcos López de Prado is Head of High Frequency Futures Trading at TUDOR INVESTMENT CORP., a Visiting Scholar at CORNELL UNIVERSITY and a Post-Doctoral Fellow of RCC at HARVARD UNIVERSITY. Formerly, a Partner at PEAK6 Investments, Head of Quantitative Equity Research at UBS, and a quant researcher at Citadel Investment Group. His research has been published in English, German and Spanish. He received his M.Sc. in Economics from the Royal University of Santiago (Spain), and his Ph.D. in Economics from U.N.E.D. ("Summa Cum Laude"). Dr. López de Prado has been recognized with the National Graduation Award in Economics by the Government of Spain (National Valedictorian, 1999).
